Those who hear Muslims speak about their faith, may get the impression that the Islamic faith is very different from Judaism or Christianity. However, there are many more parallels than one might assume.

A comparison between the Koran and the Torah shows that the Islamic jurisprudence really is very close to that of the Jews. Even the killing of apostates – people who leave Islam – can be found in the Jewish laws that the prophet Moses received.
